I know many of us have experienced this: You were so happy to get home to you beloved pet and upon arriving at your home, your beloved shih tzu ran up to you and you gave him a very big hug. In return, he decided to lick your face. That’s when you smelled his stinky breath. It was so stinky that you almost gagged.
For sure, you will be concerned about your dog’s breath and you may be wondering what you can do to help fix it. Well, here are some of the things that you can do to solve that:
- Brush his teeth at least once a day.
Of course, your dog’s teeth must be brushed on a regular basis. However, you must be aware of the fact that human toothpaste is bad for your dog so you should use one that is exclusively formulated for dogs. When brushing your dog’s teeth, focus more on the upper teeth because this is where plaque usually builds up. Brush his tongue too.
